Halloween parade for Grades K-3

Halloween Bride

Halloween has its origin in the Celtic festival of Hallowmas, a celebration of the beginning of a new cycle of the Wheel of the Year. Lore has it that the veil between the world of the living and the dead is at its most transparent during Halloween night.

At DLEACS the scary stories, however, are pushed aside and an affinity for superheroes, fairies, and carer costumes seize the day. For students in grades K-3, the Halloween celebration includes wearing costumes and enjoying a parade of a show. Additionally, individual classes may celebrate with special treats in their respective classrooms.
