Principal Brewer named Honorary Irishman of the Year

Great news! Principal James Brewer has been named Honorary Irishman of the Year Award from the Jersey City St. Patrick Day Parade– 2017 Parade Council.

This award recognizes superior professional achievement and encourages the ongoing pursuit of excellence. The honor is conferred upon individuals who have earned a distinguished reputation through significant contributions to business, community, and to education. Mr. Brewer has been recognized as a leader in education and instruction both in Boston, Massachusetts and in New Jersey. 

The designation of Honorary Irishman of the Year was officially bestowed on February 21, 2017. Through this award, the Jersey City St. Patrick Day parade demonstrates pride in the accomplishments of its honorees and celebrates the diversity of its recipients.

The annual parade is scheduled for Sunday, March 11th. The march will begin at 12:30 at Lincoln Park and continue along Kennedy Blvd. to the reviewing stand at Journal Square across from the Landmark Loews Jersey Theatre. DLEACS band will also be performing in the parade.

Please join us for an afternoon of celebration on March 11, 2018. Meeting time is 12:00 pm at the Lincoln Park statue on Kennedy Blvd.
