Giving Tuesday, sometimes characterized by the hashtag #Giving Tuesday is marked by the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The intent is to spur a movement to encourage those inspired to give back. On this day charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
