DLEACS recognized scholars across nine grades at its 2023 Winter Honors Assembly. Categories for recognition include principal's roll, honor roll, perfect attendance amongst others that code DLEACS' standards for high achievement. These children were selected by faculty to receive honors and awards that reflect their level of commitment, character, and excellence in their studies and extracurricular endeavors during the school year.

Guidance Counselors Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Capalnean served as the emcees of the day, and after opening remarks by Principal Brewer, classroom teachers in each grade presented students with their awards.
