Halloween at DLEACS

Principal brewer with Ms. West students

Halloween has its origin in the Celtic festival of Hallowmas, a celebration of the beginning of a new cycle of the Wheel of the Year. Lore has it that the veil between the world of the living and the dead is at its most transparent during Halloween night.

At DLEACS the scary stories, however, are pushed aside and an affinity for superheroes, fairies, and career costumes seize the day. This year our student life coordinator requested teachers to dress their decade.           To their delight, many teachers did not disappoint.

For students in grades K-3, the Halloween celebration included enjoying a parade of a show.
