Dear Families,
Regarding Reopening School Safely in 2022
In consultation with the local Department of Health, DLEACS will conduct virtual classes Monday, 1/3/22 through Friday, 1/7/22.
We will reevaluate the school status by Friday, 1/7/22, and will notify the school community by Friday, 1/7/22 regarding the school status for the week of 1/10/22.
On Monday, 1/3/22, ALL class assignments will be posted in GOOGLE classroom.
Note:
Technology and Connectivity Needs:
- Families in need of devices must complete the survey posted on DOJO by Ms. Pat West
- *Families may come to the school on Monday, 1/3/22 between 9AM and 1PM to pick up devices
Classes:
- All teachers will DOJO you their schedules and ZOOM links/Passwords
- Teachers will conduct Office Hours between 1:30PM – 3:30PM
- Confirm the office hours with your respective teachers
Online Behavior and Expectations
- All students are required to follow the code of conduct just as they are expected when present in the school
- Errant behavior will not be tolerated by students and/or families
- All students are required to attend virtual classes daily
- All student cameras are required to be on during instruction
- All assignments are required to be submitted on time. If there is an extenuating circumstance, you are required to contact your teacher before the assignment(s) is due
Meals:
- If you require breakfast and/or lunch, please contact Ms. G, our Cafeteria Manager to make arrangements to pick up meals
Medical and Social/Emotional Situations
- If you have any medical concerns, you are required to contact Nurse Garcia
- If you need social and/or emotional support, please contact Mr. Childs and/or Ms. Lucas
