DLEACS Student Performs in 26th Annual Martin Luther King Oratory Contast

DLEACS Cirriyah Rhodes participated in the Jersey City MLK Oratory Contest by reciting, "Let Freedom Ring", on Wednesday, February 24th at 2:00 PM. 

Hosted by the City of Jersey City, Mayor Steven M. Fulop, the Municipal Council, and the Office of Cultural Affairs, the three-day contest which offers students the opportunity to compete by giving their best oration of one of King’s memorable writings or speeches. The contests began on Wednesday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. The finalist will move on to the winner's round on Friday, February 26, 2021.

Each presentation will be judged according to length, clarity, memorization, and overall presentation.
