In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, the nation kicks off an annual month-long children's literacy celebration. DLEACS joins in the effort to campaign for children's literacy with its annual participation in Read Across America. This year twelve community volunteers visited us to participate in our annual event.
We thank Mrs. Slack who organized Read Across America at DLEACS, Ms. G., our food coordinator along with with our teachers and faculty who helped to make the day a meaningful and resonating occasion. Click here to see photos.
